I had been in severe pain for many months and Mr Tsang was one of the few who listened to what I said and took me seriously. I can not fault his bedside manner and his patience in answering in detail all the questions that I had.He encouraged me to feel positive especially when my recovery declined at one point. I feel I owe my life to him...due to both his surgical and people skills.

I was extremely happy with every aspect of my care and treatment. Mr. Tsang explained every aspect of my operation and answered all my questions at length and pointed out the pitfalls and things that could go wrong. The operation was done with keyhole surgery and I had little or no pain afterwards and recovered very quickly and was home after two days which I considered amazing after such a major op and at the age of 76. Mr. Tsang has a very kind manner instilling you with confidence and at my follow up appointment took a great deal of time to explain all aspects of the operation with photos taken during the operation. As a bonus I was out of the hospital 10 minutes before my designated time and had no parking fees to pay!

I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Tsang. When I first met him at my fourth endoscopy appointment in five years (the first one having taken place at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge) he was the only person to have identified from my notes that Addenbrookes had originally discussed with the team, and my consultant at Edith Cavell Hospital, Peterborough, the possibility of an operation to remove a GIST from my stomach. It had apparently been left in abeyance since 2011, whilst they continued to monitor the GIST with regular endoscopies. I was never told about this discussion. He was also the first person to have carried out an endoscopy on me which left me WITHOUT a sore throat and WITHOUT any discomfort in my stomach after the procedure. When he offered me the opportunity of an operation to remove the GIST, having fully explained all aspects of the procedure and aftercare, I was in no doubt that I wanted him personally to perform the operation. I have been delighted with the outcome of the operation. I was amazed to have experienced so little discomfort even immediately after the operation, and my full recovery has been swift. The expertise and care of Mr Tsang and his team has been brilliant. I could not have wished for a more expert and compassionate surgeon, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone undergoing a similar operation to mine.

I would like to thank Mr Tsang and his team for excellent care. I cannot thank him enough for the treatment I have received. After suffering for about 15 years I cannot believe how an operation by this excellent surgeon has totally changed my life. I will be forever in his debt Thankyou.
